A Note To Start

I'm not going to beat around the bush. This is a blog about taking small amounts of drugs on a regular basis and getting on with your day.

This is not something for everyone - in actual fact it is probably only for a VERY select niche of people. But for any fellow microdosers out there, or any curious cats interested in the topic - this is the blog for you. On my part I have felt compelled to write about my journey so far, so I guess this blog is mainly for me. If anyone else reads this and gets amusement, benefit or knowledge.. well that would just make my day.
I'm not promoting drug taking - do your research, make your own decisions - this is just my journey.
I started microdosing LSD a few years ago after reading the seminal book by James Fadiman aptly titled "The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide". I might get into the book in another post but suffice to say it had a big impact on me. At the time I was 32 years old and had never taken a psychedelic drug before so this book played a huge role in "priming" me on what psychedelic drugs are all about whilst also giving me the knowledge and confidence to jump in the colourful deep end.
The book opened my eyes to the fact that psychedelic drugs are not just about taking mushrooms and jumping off a balcony thinking you can fly. It is much more nuanced and actually rooted in a lot of really pioneering research into the human mind.
I liked what i read - I took the drugs and never looked back.
I will get into exactly what microdosing is and how it is done in following posts but for now know that it is basically just taking a very small amount of a psychedelic - not to get high - but instead to influence some very subtle changes in how your brain operates (more here).
This blog will be a place to talk about the effects of microdosing on daily life as well as musings on life, art, nature, philosophy, music and all the good stuff that for some reason you appreciate just that little bit more on "dose day".
This blog will also be a place of stories. Taking LSD on a regular basis and trying to function in the world can lead to some funny moments - these will be shared in time.
This blog is also a place to track latest research and articles, books and literature on the subject. It fascinates me, and I would love to share anything new I learn along the way.
Strap in - its good to have you on board.
Stay Safe :)
